When you have successfully entered the ballot you will receive a confirmation email. Winners will be chosen at random once the ballot closes. You will also be emailed with notification if you have been successful or unsuccessful. This process can take some time but we endeavour to notify all entrants of the outcome before the end of day, Monday 31st March 2025. If you cannot locate either email, please check spam/junk folders prior to contacting the team: [email protected].

We urge you to ensure all details entered during the entry process are correct. Should any amendments to orders be required they will incur a 3% processing fee. Changes will not be possible once the shipment has left our warehouse.

For this release, we are able to send to the following destinations: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark*, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, UK and  USA. (Alaska (only Anchorage) / California / Connecticut / Delaware / District Columbia / Florida / Georgia / Idaho / Illinois / Iowa / Louisiana / Maine / Maryland / Massachusetts / Minnesota / Nebraska / New Jersey / New Mexico / New York / North Carolina / Oregon / Pennsylvania / Rhode Island / South Carolina / Texas / Vermont / Virginia / Washington / Wyoming).

This is generally governed by restrictions on the shipping of alcohol products to residential addresses in each country or region. It is reviewed regularly and updated on our websites accordingly.

Please note that you will be unable to purchase a bottle for delivery if your shipping address is not in one of these eligible countries/regions.

When you enter the ballot you will have the option to ship or collect from the Distillery Shop, if successful in the ballot.

Springbank Distillers Ltd will cover the shipping costs for the Countdown Collection bottles. A signed- for delivery service will be used for this edition, therefore, someone will be required to be at the nominated address to accept and sign for the package.

If you have opted to collect your bottle. We request advance notice by emailing [email protected] when you intend to collect from the Distillery Shop so we can have it ready for you. Valid photographic ID will be required. Suitable forms of ID include: passport, UK driving licence, EU National Identity card or proof of age cards bearing the hologram PASS logo. Please note that if your order is changed from delivery to collection, an admin charge of 3% will be incurred. 

The Distillery Shop is located at Springbank Distillery, Well Close, Campbeltown, Argyll, Scotland, PA28 6ET. 

UK orders will be dispatched with Royal Mail via Pro Carrier. 

EU and ROW orders will be dispatched with Fedex with the exception of Denmark*, France, Guernsey and Jersey. 

France, Guernsey and Jersey orders will be shipped with UPS via Pro Carrier.

*Denmark orders will be dispatched with DHL. 

USA orders will be dispatched with WPL (DDP). All USA customers will be contacted individually with shipping information on the dispatch of their order. Please allow 14 days for delivery. 

Please note that as orders are dispatched from Campbeltown, tracking updates will not begin until the package has reached the carrier’s warehouse. Please use the tracking number provided to primarily monitor the status of your delivery. 

All products sold on our website are subject to UK taxes; if we are sending to an address within the United Kingdom or storing your bottle at the distillery, prices are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT). UK VAT will be automatically deducted from all orders being shipped to an address outside the UK.

All orders being dispatched outside the UK (with the exception of USA) will be shipped DAP.

DAP means that only the bottle price will be collected on our website. You should expect to pay extra local import taxes & duties if your country is listed as DAP before your bottle can be delivered to your address. 

It is the customer’s responsibility to check the relevant import regulations prior to entering the ballot. You will not be refunded for refused deliveries as these orders may be destroyed.

DDP means that all shipping fees, import taxes & duties and the bottle price will be collected on our website. Your country may apply an excise fee which is payable by the customer. If your country includes this fee the relevant authority will contact you directly for payment. 

Payment is taken automatically via Stripe, providing you have been successful, using the card details provided during ballot entry. Your card will not be charged if you have been unsuccessful in the ballot process. We accept payment from all major credit and debit cards. We advise you notify your bank in advance that you plan to pay Springbank Distillers Ltd along with the sum of money. You should also ensure the funds required to complete the purchase are available for the ballot end time. 

Please check your deliveries on arrival, and please do not accept delivery of any package which appears damaged. If you are unhappy with your purchase, we will happily refund your money if you inform us within 14 days of your goods being delivered.

All unwanted goods must be returned to us in good condition and must be properly packaged to avoid damage in transit. We will not pay to have unwanted goods returned to us unless the product is defective in some way. Photographic proof of damage will be required.

Each bottle will be supplied with a unique certificate of authentication. The purchaser’s full name from the billing details fields will be applied unless otherwise stated in the order notes. We are not able to issue replacements for these so please bear this in mind whilst completing the ballot entry process. Any inappropriate or fictitious names will be rejected. 

The Countdown Collection is a celebratory series to mark the distillery nearing its 200 Year Anniversary. Other events and prizes will be available on the run up to and during our 200th Year. Included alongside each bottle release will be a slip which should be completed and returned before 01/01/26 to enter a prize draw. If your bottle is aside to be collected we will submit this on your behalf to avoid missing out. Prizes will be revealed in due course and winners will be contacted after the draw(s). Special events will also be arranged for individuals who are successful in obtaining the full collection. 

Although we endeavour to ensure the accuracy of information on our website, mistakes can happen and prices and specifications can change without notice. All goods are limited releases and are subject to availability.
