PURCHASE LIMITATIONS

This ballot is limited to one bottle per person and purchasable only by successful entrants. All duplicate entries will be cancelled.

 

BALLOT PROCESS

Once you have entered the ballot you will receive a confirmation email. Winners will be chosen at random after the ballot closes. The ballot will be live from midday Friday 8th March – midday Tuesday 12th March.

All entrants will be notified by email to let them know if they have been successful or unsuccessful. If you cannot locate this email, please check spam/junk folders prior to contacting the team: [email protected].

If successful, you will receive a separate email from us with a payment link to complete payment. This link will expire at midnight on the day after it is sent. In order to secure your bottle, you must complete the payment link before it expires, or your bottle will be released back into the ballot.

Please note that address details cannot be amended after ballot closure.

 

SHIPPING DESTINATIONS

Currently we are able to send to the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Iceland, Isle of Man, Israel, Ireland, Japan, Jersey, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, South Africa, Taiwan and the United Kingdom.

This is generally governed by restrictions on the shipping of alcohol products to residential addresses in each country. It is reviewed regularly and updated on our websites accordingly.

Please note: if we are unable to ship to your delivery address, your order will default to collection.

 

DELIVERY AND COLLECTION INFORMATION

When you enter the ballot you will have the option to ship or collect from the Distillery Shop, if successful in the ballot. It is your responsibility to ensure that all required information is correct during the ballot entry process as it will be used to complete your purchase. Shipping charges are included in the bottle price.

Countdown Collection series bottles will be held until the end of our 200th Anniversary Year, 2028. Collection must be arranged before 31/12/2028. We request advance notice by emailing [email protected] when you intend to collect from the Distillery Shop so we can have it ready for you. Valid photographic ID will be required. Suitable forms of ID include: passport, UK driving licence, EU National Identity card or proof of age cards bearing the hologram PASS logo. Please note that if your order is changed from delivery to collection or vice versa, an admin charge will be incurred for this change.

The Distillery Shop is located at Springbank Distillery, Well Close, Campbeltown, Argyll, Scotland, PA28 6ET.

 

CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICATION

Each bottle will be supplied with a unique certificate of authentication. The purchaser’s full name from the billing details fields will be applied unless otherwise stated in the order notes. We are not able to issue replacements for these so please bear this in mind whilst completing the ballot entry process. Any inappropriate or fictitious names will be rejected.

 

PRIZE DRAWS

The Countdown Collection is a celebratory series to mark the distillery nearing its 200 Year Anniversary. Other events and prizes will be available on the run up to and during our 200th Year. Included alongside each bottle release will be a slip which should be completed and returned before 01/01/25 to enter a prize draw. If your bottle is aside to be collected we will submit this on your behalf to avoid missing out. Prizes will be revealed in due course and winners will be contacted after the draw(s). Special events will also be arranged for individuals who are successful in obtaining the full collection.

 

TAXES AND DUTIES

All products sold on our website are subject to UK taxes; if we are sending to an address within the United Kingdom or if you have opted to collect from the distillery shop, prices are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT). VAT will be automatically deducted from all orders being shipped to an address outside the UK, however you may be liable for local taxes and duties upon arrival in your country. It is the customer’s responsibility to check with their country’s import regulations prior to purchasing. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay these fees prior to delivery. You will not be refunded for refused deliveries as these orders may be destroyed.

 

PAYMENT METHODS

Payment will be taken via a WorldPay payment link. Please note that AMEX is not accepted via WorldPay.

 

RETURNS POLICY

Please check your deliveries on arrival, and please do not accept delivery of any package which appears damaged. If you are unhappy with your purchase, we will happily refund your money if you inform us within 14 days of your goods being delivered.

All unwanted goods must be returned to us in good condition and must be properly packaged to avoid damage in transit. We will not pay to have unwanted goods returned to us unless the product is defective in some way. Proof of damage will be required.
