TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BALLOT ENTRY & SALE

PURCHASE PROCESS

When you have successfully entered the ballot you will receive a confirmation email. Then, if you have successfully purchased a bottle after the ballot’s close, you will receive a second confirmation email. If you cannot locate either email, please check spam/junk folders prior to contacting the team: [email protected].

We urge you to ensure all details entered during the entry process are correct. Address details cannot be amended after ballot closure as bottles are quickly dispatched via our Mail Order Team with the details provided upon ballot entry. Please ensure that all address details entered during ballot entry are correct.

SHIPPING DESTINATIONS

This is generally governed by restrictions on the shipping of alcohol products to residential addresses in each country or region. It is reviewed regularly and updated on our websites accordingly.

Please note that you will be unable to purchase a bottle if your shipping address is not in one of these eligible countries/regions.

SWEDEN MEMBERS

We will send an additional email with instructions on how to register your interest to purchase one of these bottles via the Systembolaget website.

If you are a Swedish member and you have not received the separate instructional email, please contact us immediately, as we will not be able to add your name to the list after ballot close.

CANADIAN MEMBERS

A separate sale will be conducted for members based in Canada via Kensington Wine Market (KWM). You will be contacted about this in due course.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

It is your responsibility to ensure that all required information is correct during the ballot process as it will be used to complete your purchase. Shipping charges will be added to your order during purchase. See Taxes and Duties section for further information on how this will be charged.

Please note that the address of our Distillery Shop or any Cadenhead’s Shops cannot be used as we do not offer a collection service for this release. Any orders using our shop or office addresses for delivery will be cancelled.

BUSINESS SHIPPING ADDRESSES

For all orders, customers are required to provide a residential delivery address. Shipments addressed to businesses may require an EORI number and are significantly more prone to customs delays, returns, or loss. As a result, we do not accept responsibility for any issues arising from the use of a business address, including failed delivery, additional charges, or the parcel being held or returned by customs. By placing an order, the customer confirms that a valid residential address has been provided and accepts all associated responsibilities.

TAXES AND DUTIES

All products sold on our website are subject to UK duty; if we are sending to an address within the United Kingdom, prices are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT).

For Rest of the World orders, UK VAT will be automatically deducted from all orders being shipped to addresses outside the UK.

Important Note:  Your order will be subject to local taxes and duties upon arrival in your country, which are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Please be aware that this is different from previous releases. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you will need to contact your local customs office if you require further information. Refusal to pay the local import duties and taxes will result in the goods either being: destroyed by customs (if the goods are destroyed, the customer will not be entitled to a refund); or goods being returned to sender at the cost of the consignee (costs deducted from any refund owed).

It is the customer’s responsibility to check the relevant import regulations prior to entering this ballot.

PAYMENT METHODS

Following the ballot closure, and providing your entry is successful, payment is taken via Stripe. We also accept payment from all major credit and debit cards.

RETURNS POLICY

Please check your deliveries on arrival, and please do not accept delivery of any package which appears damaged. If you are unhappy with your purchase, we will happily refund your money if you inform us within 14 days of your goods being delivered.

All unwanted goods must be returned to us in good condition and must be properly packaged to avoid damage in transit. We will not pay to have unwanted goods returned to us unless the product is defective in some way. Proof of damage will often be required.

ACCURACY

Although we endeavour to ensure the accuracy of information on our website, mistakes can happen and prices and specifications can change without notice. All goods are limited releases and are subject to availability.

AGE RESTRICTION

By using our website you are confirming that you are of legal age to purchase alcohol in the country or region in which you reside.
