The Countdown Collection
This ballot offers everyone who enters an equal chance of purchasing one of the 500 bottles in the 1st Edition of Springbank’s 200th Anniversary Countdown Collection series.
Winners will be selected at random the day following the ballot closure and all entrants will be notified by email of the outcome. It is strictly limited to one bottle per person. Any duplicate entries will be cancelled.
To enter the ballot visit our website or use the links provided in our social media bios during the live period. Simply click ‘enter ballot’ and follow the standard checkout procedure. Payment details will be taken during this process but you will only be charged after the ballot closes, if you are one of the lucky winners. Please ensure all details are entered correctly during this procedure and that you use a valid card to complete the payment if successful.
A unique certificate of authenticity will be issued alongside each bottle. Regrettably we are unable to issue replacements for these so ask that when entering the ballot, if the bottle is intended for someone else, please submit their full name in the order notes. If no note is submitted, the purchaser’s full name will be applied to the certificate.

To allow all Springbank supporters the opportunity to take part no matter where they are located, we are offering both a shipping and collection service for these releases. Shipping will be available free of charge, as standard, irrelevant of the destination but taxes and duties will be the sole responsibility of the recipient.
Alternatively, entrants can opt to collect their bottle(s) from the Distillery Shop at a convenient time over the next five years. Collection must be arranged prior to 31st December 2028 and advance notice is requested by emailing the team at [email protected] so they can have your bottle(s) ready. Valid photo ID will be required and UK duties and taxes will be applicable.
Due to the personalisation of certificates in the week following the ballot, all shipments and collections will be processed during the week commencing 3rd April 2023. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

Once you have entered the ballot via the www.springbank.scot website you will receive a confirmation email. Winners will be chosen at random after the ballot closes. The ballot will be live from midday Monday 20th – midday Sunday 26th March (GMT).

If successful, payment will be taken automatically from cards used to guarantee payment during the ballot entry process. Anyone who is unsuccessful will not be charged. If any payment issues arise you will be notified by email and must make payment within 24 hours to secure your bottle.
Currently we are able to send to the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Iceland, Isle of Man, Israel, Ireland, Japan, Jersey, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, South Africa, Taiwan and the United Kingdom.
This is generally governed by restrictions on the shipping of alcohol products to residential addresses in each country. It is reviewed regularly and updated on our websites accordingly. Please note: if we are unable to ship to your delivery address, your order will default to collection.
DELIVERY AND COLLECTION INFORMATION
When you enter the ballot you will have the option to ship or collect from the Distillery Shop, if successful in the ballot. It is your responsibility to ensure that all required information is correct during the ballot entry process as it will be used to complete your purchase. Delivery charges are included in the price of the bottle.
Countdown Collection series bottles will be held for a five year period until the end of our 200th Anniversary Year. Collection must be arranged before 31/12/2028. We request advance notice by emailing [email protected] when you intend to collect from the Distillery Shop so we can have it ready for you. Valid photographic ID will be required. Suitable forms of ID include: passport, UK driving license, EU National Identity card or proof of age cards bearing the hologram PASS logo. Please note that if you opt to collect your bottle, UK duty and taxes will be applicable and cannot be refunded.

CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICATION
Each bottle will be supplied with a unique certificate of authentication. The purchaser’s full name from the billing details fields will be applied unless otherwise stated in the order notes. We are not able to issue replacements for these so please bear this in mind whilst completing the ballot entry process. Any inappropriate or fictitious names will be rejected.
The Countdown Collection is a celebratory series to mark the distillery nearing its 200 Year Anniversary. Other events and prizes will be available on the run up to and during our 200th Year. Included alongside each bottle release will be a slip which should be completed and returned before 01/01/24 to enter a prize draw. If your bottle is aside to be collected we will submit this on your behalf to avoid missing out. Prizes will be revealed in due course and winners will be contacted after the draw(s). Special events will also be arranged for individuals who are successful in obtaining the full collection.
TAXES AND DUTIES
All products sold on our website are subject to UK taxes; if we are sending to an address within the United Kingdom or if you have opted to collect from the distillery shop, prices are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT). VAT will be automatically deducted from all orders being shipped to an address outside the UK, however you may be liable for local taxes and duties upon arrival in your country. It is the customer’s responsibility to check with their country’s import regulations prior to purchasing. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay these fees prior to delivery. You will not be refunded for refused deliveries as these orders may be destroyed.

Please check your deliveries on arrival, and please do not accept delivery of any package which appears damaged. If you are unhappy with your purchase, we will happily refund your money or exchange if you inform us within 7 days of your goods being delivered.
All unwanted goods must be returned to us in good condition and must be properly packaged to avoid damage in transit. We will not pay to have unwanted goods returned to us unless the product is defective in some way. Proof of damage will be required.
Although we endeavour to ensure the accuracy of information on our website, mistakes can happen and prices and specifications can change without notice. All goods are limited releases and are subject to availability.
